Ferrules – Details
Ferrule valves originated from England/France during the industrial revolution and are widely used across the world in many countries that originated from a formerly colony status.
Generally incorporating 3 parts:
- Main Body
- Floating Jumper Valve
- T-head Spindle Assembly (controls floating jumper valve to opens and snaps shut if back flow occurs)
by far the most common sizes are 20mm & 25mm and these come with either a poly plug assembly to allow direct tapping of mains, or without the plug assembly where a tapping is done prior to pressurizing the main.
